About the Firm.
The ultimate goal of the Firm is to assist clients achieve business and personal goals, by negotiating and closing transactions and handling disputed matters. A key focus of the Firm involves the practice of preventative law; I counsel clients as to how they can help control costs by preventing and controlling adverse situations before they occur or get out of hand.
Currently the Firms client base is diverse. Meeting the needs of clients ranging from nonprofit organizations, emerging businesses, and individuals. Current clients include foreign governmental bodies, fraternal organizations and businesses in the service sector. I also counsel individuals as to their personal needs including family law, immigration law, and personal injury.
The firm is committed to providing quality legal services in a result-oriented, cost-effective manner. This is done via an innovative yet practical approach to resolving clients problems while working to attain the desired objectives. The Firm is ideally suited to effectively respond to and fully service the needs of clients, both large and small.
About Cirilo Martinez
CIRILO MARTINEZ— a graduate of The University of Michigan and Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. While at Loyola, Cirilo studied International Law, International Commercial Arbitration and International Tax Law in preparation for a career in International Law. He currently sits by Gubernatorial Appointment on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Home Based Child Care Council. He is also the Vice-President of the Kalamazoo Trial Lawyers Association, a Board member of Farm Worker Legal Service, New Latino Vision, the Imagine Fund a non-for-profit organization that strives to continue a strong diverse student body in higher education through the raising of scholarship and programming funds for under represented minorities in the State of Michigan. Cirilo also sits on the Alumni Leadership Council of the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan where he chairs the Hispanic Alumni Council and sits on the LEADS scholarship committee . He is currently a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Latin American Bar Activities Section of the Michigan Bar and the West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. His practice includes family law, immigration law, international law and criminal law.
Current Clients
Current clients include Consulado de Mexico en Detriot, Acapulco Mexican Restaurants and Top Sargent Lawn Care along with other similar organizations. I also represent individuals with personal legal needs including family law, immigration law, and personal injury.
